It’s now time for all partriotic Americans to stand up and speak out against the growing tyranny of government. I suppose this sounds ridiculous in this day and time, but when I see what is happening in my Country I shudder. Government has never and will never be the solution to any problem in our lives. Yet each passing day, more and more people look first to the government to solve their problems. What they don’t realize is that they are hastening the cataclysmic change in the future of the United States. We are truly on the verge of a revolution. It will not be a revolution in terms of insurrection in the streets. It will be a revolution of the people who work in America to make a living… staging a quiet “Boston Tea Party”… Americans will vote with their tax dollars… or lack there of. Americans will find ways to bypass the taxation without representation taking place in this Country. Congress has finally detached itself from representing the people and now has decided IT knows best. Congress actually believes it has the wisdom to manage our economy, our healthcare, our airwaves, our pension, and future. The time has come to speak out against the moral, ethical and intellectual bankruptcy in Washington. And WE must all now begin to find ways to evade and avoid paying taxes. This is the only way we can stop Congress. If they don’t have money, they can’t pay for pork… and the while that has never stopped them before, the United States I dare say is going to become a debtor nation where the world no longer believes it can pay its bills. By all Americans evading and avoiding paying taxes we can hasten the collapse and hasten the removal Congress and the President. Time is critical, but we are slowly moving towards anarchy as more and more people decide enough is enough. We cannot allow pin-head elitists to destroy our treasured way of life… and that is exactly what is happening. The guarantees written into the Bill of Rights giving all American’s the right to pursue life, liberty and happiness has been replaced by creeping socialism. So now is the time to start imagining how we are going to starve government of taxes and force a crisis in borrowing. I wish you godspeed in your journey to rebel against the outrageous happenings in Washington.

How far we have fallen…
Below is a transcript of a speech made by George Patton to his troops during WWII: Today… Patton would be in exile if these words were spoken to our troops, but men like Patton inspire others to go beyond the “call of duty”… the politically correct tripe required of our leaders today, make me sick. Patton’s words:
Now, I want you to remember that no bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
Men, all this stuff you’ve heard about America not wanting to fight, wanting to stay out of the war, is a lot of horse dung. Americans, traditionally, love to fight. All real Americans love the sting of battle.
When you were kids, you all admired the champion marble shooter, the fastest runner, the big league ball players, the toughest boxers. Americans love a winner and will not tolerate a loser. Americans play to win all the time. Now, I wouldn’t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That’s why Americans have never lost and will never lose a war. Because the very thought of losing is hateful to Americans.
Now, an army is a team. It lives, eats, sleeps, fights as a team. This individuality stuff is a bunch of crap. The bilious bastards who wrote that stuff about individuality for the Saturday Evening Post don’t know anything more about real battle than they do about fornicating.
Now, we have the finest food and equipment, the best spirit, and the best men in the world. You know, by God, I actually pity those poor bastards we’re going up against. By God, I do. We’re not just going to shoot the bastards. We’re going to cut out their living guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. We’re going to murder those lousy Hun bastards by the bushel.
Now, some of you boys, I know, are wondering whether or not you’ll chicken-out under fire. Don’t worry about it. I can assure you that you will all do your duty. The Nazis are the enemy. Wade into them. Spill their blood. Shoot them in the belly. When you put your hand into a bunch of goo that a moment before was your best friend’s face, you’ll know what to do.
Now there’s another thing I want you to remember. I don’t want to get any messages saying that we are holding our position. We’re not holding anything. Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we’re not interested in holding onto anything — except the enemy. We’re going to hold onto him by the nose, and we’re gonna kick him in the ass. We’re gonna kick the hell out of him all the time, and we’re gonna go through him like crap through a goose!
Now, there’s one thing that you men will be able to say when you get back home, and you may thank God for it. Thirty years from now when you’re sitting around your fireside with your grandson on your knee, and he asks you, “What did you do in the great World War II?” — you won’t have to say, “Well, I shoveled shit in Louisiana.”
Alright now you sons-of-bitches, you know how I feel.
Oh, I will be proud to lead you wonderful guys into battle anytime, anywhere.
That’s all.
Obama could not be more fundamentally wrong…
Obama could not be more wrong about almost every issue. Yet it is my belief the man is far too intelligent to hold the beliefs he espouses. I struggle to reconcile Obama’s apparent intellect with his apparent lack of “real world” understanding of most issues. I can only conclude the man has found himself between a rock and a hard place… and forced to say and do things that are out of character for a man of such intellect. Seemingly, he does not understand even the basics of Economics 101. We all know, the Government does not create jobs. And when the government spends money it takes money out of circulation in order to purchase things. Granted there is a short-term stimulus or multiplier on this money when it returns to the private sector, but it is nothing more than a short-term reaction to an infusion of money supply. Further his approach to stimulating the economy is 180 degrees opposite of his campaign rhetoric. My observation of the macroeconomic effects of Obama’s so-called stimulus is nothing more than simply “kicking a can down the road”. It heaps monstrous debt on our children and will not change the economic climate meangingfully. Bottom-line, the economy has to sort out the problems it is now experiencing through the “invisible hand” that Adam Smith talked about in Wealth of Nations over 100 years ago. And government was not Adam Smith’s solution to wealth creation then, nor is it the solution today. Self reliance is a personal key to personal success and capitalism is the economic model that gives each of us the ability to create a comfortable life for our families and ourselves.
Hey Congress… why stop with cash giveaways to every American?
Is there no limit to where Congress and our inexperienced irrationally “idealistic” President might take this Country. Each day a new executive order is signed giving away more and more of my money to people who… in some cases don’t need the money and in many cases are not even asking for the money. Congress is moving towards setting aside the age old truisms of Economics 101, and simply rearranging the market as they see fit. They do this in a vacuum devoid of any economic principles as most Congressmen haven’t even pumped their own gas in 10 years. I ask… how can the government just decide 30 year mortgages should be 4%. Worse yet, how does the government just snap its fingers and suddenly 4% is the benchmark across the country. And if this is where we are going… i.e. arbitrary configuring of the economy, why stop at 4% mortgage rates. Let’s just all decide we should have incomes of $100,00 per year, we should get $15,000 payments to buy new cars, we should get $25,000 for purchasing a new home, free electricity and natural gas, fixed gasoline prices of $1.00 per gallon, cradle to grave healthcare, and on and on… Don’t laugh, while I have inflated some of the above suggestions, bits and pieces of these ideas have been discussed and kicked around by Congress, and I have no doubts Obama would seriously consider many of these programs. Here’s the problem though… who is going to pay for this. You can’t just arbitrarily determine prices and subsidies and incomes… blah blah blah. And if you think we have serious drug problems now, take away people’s motivations to work and achieve things in life, and watch how quick people become drug addicts and alcoholics. Humans need challenges in their lives to truly experience life. Take away all the trials and tribulations of life and surprisingly life becomes very very dull. Why? Because without experiencing difficult times, one cannot enjoy the good times. Without the bad there is no good as you need one to know the difference. Admittedly, I have exaggerated things, but even in the absurd ideas there are threads of truth and threads of just how idealistic and out-of-touch liberals think. WE should all be worried about where the new Congress and President are heading. They know not what they do!
Okay enough is enough… Bush is not responsible for everything!
As you no doubt can see from my blog, I enjoy listening to the absurdity of our elected officials. Our inept elected officials at all levels of government, never seem to amaze me with their lack of any semblence of common sense. Most are completely out of touch with the common everyday working American they are supposed to represent. Regardless, it is now time to move on… Bush is out of office, and Congress cannot continue to spend all its time on petty immaterials issues like funding for international groups supporting abortion… or Gitmo closure… and most importantly cannot spend its time looking in the “rear-veiw” mirror to blame Bush for every single solitary dumb thing that has happened in the last 25 years. I am tired of Bush bashing because it accomplishes nothing… and to me it demonstrates a lack of one’s own ideas on how to solve our most basic issue which is “THE ECONOMY STUPID”… So Bush is gone, now you moron’s in Congress need to get to work coming up with common sense solutions to our economic mess. That’s all you people need to do is focus on a single issue…”THE ECONOMY STUPID”. American’s have lost all sense of respect for Congress even with Obama riding high in public opinion. The honey-moon is over Congress, get to work doing something constructive to solve the single most important issue facing America. Gitmo or abortion rights, is not even on most American’s radar screen. Congress we don’t care about these things. FOCUS ON THE ECONOMY STUPID!!! My god, we continue to elect people who only vaguely know the issues, they are unfocused, and are experts at double-speak. I hope this Blog along with literally millions of other Blogs will become part of our collective consciousness and in doing so form a common theme among all Americans.
Hunker down folks we are heading into a depression!
I will not profess to be an expert on economics, far from it, but what I think I do have is a sense of reality. My sense of reality is that the United States, if not the entire world, is heading into a depression similar to 1929. I base my prediction, not on fancy statistics on money supply, money multipliers, Keynes versus the Monetarists, rather I base my prediction of the future based on simple demographics. And there is only a single statistic one need to understand to see where we are headed. For our economy to remain vibrant, we need consumption of goods and services. Each dollar that is spent on consumption has a multiplier effect in the economy. So, when I purchase a particular good or service, that purchase adds money to the economy which in turn creates additional spending producing that good or service, and so on and so forth. So the impact of that single purchase has a ripple effect. Now… as one moves through life we go through purchasing stages. We start by purchasing our first home… which creates a stimulus. Think of the home as a “nest”… this nest is where our consumption begins. First we furnish the nest, then we fill the nest with children, and then we move up to a bigger nest, and again repeat the furnishing pattern. All along the way… we are consuming goods and services. Typically one is a net consumer of goods and services, ie we spend more than we produce, from the age of 20-50. This 30 year period I call the consuming years. From 50 until we die we slowly become negative consumers. From 50 and beyond we downsize our nests, the kids move out, and we generally consume far less goods and services. And in many ways we are negative consumers. WE save money, we invest in our retirement, and ultimately we live off our retirement savings plus Social Security. This brings me to my simple demographic statistic that tells me we are headed towards a depression. 1959 was the last year of the “baby boom”… the generation behind this “boom” is far fewer in number. Given this the number of “consumers” compared to “negative consumers” is reversed. We have entered a period where there is going to be far less consumption, and without consumption of goods and services, our economy will contract. Depending on how significant the drop in consumption, will impact the severity of the coming depression. Again looking at simple demographics, the “baby boomer” generation family size typically was 3-4 children, but the following generation saw family size more in the range of 2-3. This means consumption in the United States could drop by 25-50% simply based on population changes. Given this, a depression is unstoppable… and this depression will likely last for 5 years as the entire economy adjusts to lower consumption. In the meantime, home prices will collapse, the stock market will plummet, and unemployment will rise dramatically. My advice is to move to cash or commodities and away from stocks, homes, or similar assets. I hope I am wrong, but demographics are not favorable. And for god’s sake ignore your broker’s advice.
